Welcome Elizabeth Hain - New CASA Director

Anticipating the retirement of Carol Knieriem, CASA for York County is proud to welcome Elizabeth Hain as the newest addition to their staff. On July 2, Hain will take over the duties as executive director, overseeing the day-to-day operations. Knieriem will still be in place until the end of September in order to ease the transition.
Hain is a recent graduate of Concordia University and a Nebraska native. More importantly she already has a passion for the work of CASA. Hain served as an intern for Southeast Nebraska CASA in Seward beginning in January 2017, and continued her service after her formal internship was completed.
Prior to her start, Hain has been able to meet and spend time with Knieriem and the office staff. Hain is very impressed with Knieriem and the spirit that exists in the office.
Brent Magner, president of the CASA Board of Directors, says “We believe Elizabeth will work to retain this collegial atmosphere and build on a good foundation that is focused on serving children.”
CASA for York County supports and provides volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children, enabling them to thrive in a safe, permanent home.
