Meet the Director --- Elizabeth Hain
Anticipating the retirement of long-time Director Carol Knieriem, CASA for York County welcomed Elizabeth Hain. Hain is now serving as Executive Director and oversees the day-to-day operations.
Hain is a graduate of Concordia University and a Nebraska native. More importantly she already has a passion for the work of CASA. Hain served as an intern for Southeast Nebraska CASA in Seward beginning in January 2017, and continued her service after her formal internship was completed.
With a heart for the mission of CASA, Elizabeth leads a part-time staff of two and dedicated volunteers as they represent the best interests of, and provide a voice for, youth in foster care.
CASA for York County supports and provides volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children, enabling them to thrive in a safe, permanent home.
